Sangeeta Dasgupta, Lecturer in Economics, Women’s College, Shillong, has been awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Economics by NEHU on her research topic, “A Study of Economic Development Strategy for Tribals in Meghalaya” under the supervision of Prof. Eugene D. Thomas, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, NEHU, Tura.
