A motorist sustained injuries after falling off from his scooter (MLO5A – 6440) when it hit a TATA Mobile pick-up truck on a turning at 3rd Mile, Upper Shillong, on Thursday. The injured, Ramesh Rama (35) was shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital.

A co-passenger travelling on a Mahindra Marshall (MLO5B – 9024) towards Shillong from Maweit sustained injuries when the vehicle drove off towards the side of the road at 5th Mile, Upper Shillong, on Wednesday. Cassandra Demello (63) was injured in the incident.

On May 1 around 3.40 am, a vehicle (ML-05D-9024) driven by Karland L. Nonglait, skidded off the road and plunged into a gorge at 5th Mile, Upper Shillong. As a result, two occupants sustained injuries and were removed to Nazareth Hospital, Shillong.
