Hollywood icon Angelina Jolie says she never expected to find true love in life before meeting her fiance Brad Pitt.
The 38-year-old mother-of-six, may be raising Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne with Pitt, 50, but the A-lister revealed she envisioned a very different life for herself, reported E!Online.
“I never thought I’d have children, I never thought I’d be in love, I never thought I’d meet the right person. Having come from a broken home – you kind of accept that certain things feel like a fairy tale, and you just don’t look for them,” Jolie said.
The actress’ parents, Jon Voight and her late mother Marcheline Bertrand separated in 1976 and divorced in 1980.
Ten years and six children have only brought Jolie and Pitt closer. She was previously married to Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton.
“You get together and you’re two individuals and you feel inspired by each other, you challenge each other, you complement each other, drive each other beautifully crazy,” she said.
“After all these years, we have history, and when you have history with somebody, you’re friends in such a very real, deep way that there’s such a comfort, and an ease, and a deep love that comes from having been through quite a lot together,” she added. (PTI)
