SHILLONG: A woman was killed after being struck by lightning at Huripunki village in Balat in East Khasi Hills on Saturday last.
The incident occurred at around 9.30 pm on Saturday resulting in the death of Portima Ch. Sangma.
Her relatives buried her the next day without informing the police.
