NONGSTOIN: Subscribers of Reliance network mobile service in Nongstoin have expressed their outrage over network outage in the region over the past two weeks. Subscribers said that while they are charged with the monthly rentals for post paid, half a month has passed without network. In addition, prepaid subscribers complained that their service validities had expired without usage.

In response, Reliance employees at Nongstoin stated that one of their equipments at Mairang had malfunctioned and attempts were being made to revive it, adding that they were uncertain if it would function again.

“It isn’t surprising that the network (Reliance) has gone kaput for the last two weeks as Reliance network in Nongstoin has always been poor. Despite our appeals and requests the problem still persists. I, on my part would suggest anyone I meet to refrain from buying Reliance sim cards in Nongstoin,” said one Reliance subscriber in Nonstoin.
