NONGPOH: The Ri-Bhoi Badminton Association (RBBA) will organise the 32nd State Level Badminton Championship at the Indoor Stadium in Nongpoh (Umlyngkdait) from August 7-9.
This is the first time that the RBBA will be hosting the tournament, according to Association president Ferdynald K Kharkamni.
The RBBA hopes to popularise the sport through the state level event and promote the talent of the youth of the district and Meghalaya as a whole.
Accommodation and other facilities for the participants will be provided.
The championship will be run for boys and girls in Under-12, U-15, U-17 and U-19 categories in singles and doubles. There are also senior men and women divisions for singles, doubles and mixed doubles.
