Bodies recovered

SHILLONG: Bodies of four persons who died in separate incidents were recovered in parts of state.

On Wednesday afternoon, one unidentified body was found floating in a pond at Wahlyngdoh, 11th Mile, Mylliem in East Khasi Hills.

Earlier on July28 at around 7.30 pm, body of one Style Dohling (50) was recovered from Umiam Weikha River, Umlyngka in East Khasi Hills. It is suspected that the deceased was drowned while fishing.

On Jul 26, one unidentified male body was recovered from the compound of one SL Shadap at Sutnga village in East Jaintia Hills.

On Jul 25, at about 9.30 pm, body of one Kamshon Buam (52) was recovered from Ratacherra, NH-44 (EJH).

The victim had head injury and it is suspected to be a case of hit and run.
