SHILLONG: The Rajiv Gandhi Nursery Teachers Training Academy, Shillong conducted a workshop for pre-primary and primary teachers at RGTCT here on Wednesday.

Director of Commerce and Industries, W. Langstang who was the chief guest on the occasion spoke about the need to give training to the teachers at the nursery level so that they are able to give the right perspective and education to children at their tender age making them “productive members of the society”.

The other speaker on the occasion Joint Director, Director of Commerce and Industries, R. B. Roy, also stressed on the need to give proper training to teachers dealing with children.
