SHILLONG: The border peace committee of Khanduli recently organized a peace rally cum cultural programme which was attended by people from both Pnar and Karbi communities.

Local MLAs, MDCs and DCs and SPs of both Hamren (Assam) and West Jaintia Hills districts attended the programme.

Around three thousand people attended the programme which was organized with the intention of strengthening the relations between the two communities living along the border.
