Cement company faces Rs. 2 crore loan payment default charge

SHILLONG: A police complaint has been lodged at Rynjah Police Station against M/s AMS Cement Ltd. for default in repayment of a loan of Rs. 2 crore which was taken from Meghalaya Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC).

Police informed that MIDC had loaned Rs.2 crore to M/s AMS Cement Ltd., for setting up of a plant at Mawpdang village in East Khasi Hills, but the company has failed to repay the loan to the MIDC.
