SHILLONG: Bansharai Sunn scored two goals for Rangdajied United, guiding the team to 4-3 win over the Boys Sports Company after some late scares in a SPL match on Thursday at Polo Grounds.

Earlier in the match, Bansharai opened the scoring in the 20th minute. Two minutes later Ambilstar added another to give a lead 2-0 over Boys. Shreshtha scored in the 33rd minute for Boys but later Bansharai made it 3-1 in the 59th with his second goal.

The battle continued as Boys Sports came back from two goals behind to level with Shreshtha scoring one more (66 min) along with B. Adhikari (75 min). The game looked to be headed for a draw but Joel Sunday’s stoppage time goal did it for the Blues as they snatched a win.

In Second Division, Nongkseh cruised past Riatsamthiah with a 2-0 win. M. Mukhim scored the opening goal early in the 5th minute before B. Lyngdoh found the back of the nets for his side’s second goal in the 34th minute.
