SHILLONG: A city resident was allegedly duped of Rs 3,900 by a job recruiting company.

The victim, Abhirup Dasgupta lodged a complaint at Rynjah PS on Saturday that on August 8 one Anupam Das and Nitu Rajput of a firm named Perfect Rozgar Services called him over phone instructing him to provide his documents for a job and to deposit Rs. 3,900. Despite doing so, Dasgupta is yet to be hired.
