Kim wants daughter to work hard for money

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian says her daughter North West will have to “work for what she wants”.The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star, married to rapper Kanye West, shared her plans for her daughter in an interview with London’s Evening Standard magazine, reports eonline.com. “I was saying that earlier to my friends, ‘I wonder what (North’s) first job is gonna be’. And they were like, ‘What? She’s gonna have a job?’ and I was like, ‘Are you kidding me? Of course she is’. She will have to work for what she wants,” she said.  Kim also shared how she used to work while in school and save money to buy the things she wanted. “I saved up for this Dolce & Gabbana dress I really wanted, or like in high school these Prada shoes that my parents wouldn’t buy me. And I remember they were $400, and I had to save for the entire year to get them.” she said.“We didn’t get anything, we had to get a job if we wanted it. So, I was working in a clothing store and I would save and save,” she said. (IANS)

Gwen Taylor reveals cancer battle

Former ‘Coronation Street’ actress Gwen Taylor has revealed that she has cancer. Taylor, 75, who starred in the stage version of ‘Calendar Girls’ with the late Lynda Bellingham, said that she feels both lucky and guilty that she is winning her own battle with the disease after identifying it early, reported Digital Spy. “I was in the bathroom listening to the radio when it came on that Lynda had passed away,” she recalled. “It was just so shocking and deeply upsetting. She was such a nice person. It made me think how lucky I am. I had breast cancer and underwent surgery in August. I also had radiotherapy but I haven’t needed chemotherapy. (PTI)
