BJP seeks better medical facilities in Ri Bho

NONGPOH: The BJP Nongpoh Mandal submitted a memorandum to the Medical Superintendent, Nongpoh Civil Hospital, demanding immediate establishment of a blood bank in the district.

The BJP Nongpoh Mandal asked the State Government to set up a blood bank, trauma centre, ICU, private ward, digital X-ray machine, and appointment of orthopaedic, psychiatrist, microbiologist, forensic specialist and ENT specialist for the need of the common people especially coming from the rural areas of the district.

The BJP also demanded better transportation facilities for the rural areas of the district which is still lacking behind other districts especially with regards to speedy medical treatment for the poor and old persons.

The Medical Superintendent of Nongpoh Civil Hospital assured the BJP Mandal that he would take up the matter with the concerned authorities.
