SHILLONG: The State Government has planning to construct working women’s hostels in every district headquarters. Social Welfare Deborah C. Marak on Wednesday submitted a proposal in this regard to the Secretary, Ministry of Women and Child, VS Oberoi in New Delhi. Ms Marak and Oberoi discussed issues relating to release of funds to various schemes including the State Resource Centre for Women, SABLA, Integrated Child Protection Scheme.
