SHILLONG: The State will lose out an amount of Rs 150 crore under the special Central assistance from the proposed plan size of Rs 4,545 crore for 2014-15 in the absence of the Planning Commission which otherwise decides on the plan size of the states.

Speaking to reporters, Chief Minister Mukul Sangma said on Tuesday that though there was no Planning Commission, the Centre had already committed the allocation of funds of the states under the normal Central assistance and special plan assistance .

The Chief Minister admitted that under special Central assistance the State Government will not get Rs 150 crore.

However, he said that since the Central sector schemes are included in the state plan, the allocation to the state will be higher.
