Health camp
The BSF Frontier Headquarter Shillong organized a health awareness programme on Cervical & Breast Cancer in collaboration with NEIGRIHMS. The camp was attended by Officers, SOs, family members of BSF HQ and units located in Shillong. The awareness programme was inaugurated by Sudesh Kumar, IG BSF FTR HQ Meghalaya. The aim of this camp was to reach out masses and create awareness amongst the BSF personnel & families.
Concert
The Department of Arts and Culture in collaboration with Lelangki Dolby Cable TV will organize a concert titled NE Rock Connect on November 15 at 4 pm at U Soso Tham Auditorium. Altogether four bands from Shillong and Guwahati will participate in the programme.
Baby show
Punjabi Sabha Shillong organized a “baby show” for children (up to 3 years) as part of the Children’s Day celebration at Children’s Hospital. Altogether 30 kids participated in the programme.
Painting competition
The State level painting competition on energy and conservation will be held on November 15. The prize distribution function will be held at 2 pm at NEEPCO.
