SHILLONG: The President of India and the Supreme Commander of Indian Armed Forces, Pranab Mukherjee, will award the prestigious President’s Standard to No 115 Helicopter Unit and No 26 Sqn, in a grand Ceremonial Parade, scheduled to be held at Air Force Station, Tezpur, on November 21.

Wing Commander A.P. Deshpande, Commanding Officer of 115 Helicopter Unit and Wing Commander S. Prabhu, Commanding Officer of No 26 Sqn, will receive the President’s Standard.

The Governor of Assam and senior civilian and military dignitaries are expected to attend the ceremony.

Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha, Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal R.K. Jolly, Aide-de-Camp Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Air Command and Air Marshal S.S. Soman, among others would also witness the ceremony.
