Convocation

The North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU) will hold its XXII Convocation on November 25 at the Permanent Campus, Mawlai. The Governor of Meghalaya & Chief Rector, NEHU, Dr Krishan Kant Paul will deliver the Convocation address as the Chief Guest on the occasion. Professor P. Shukla, Vice-Chancellor, NEHU will preside over the Convocation.

Membership Launch

The State BJP will launch the State Primary Membership November 24 at 1pm at Hotel Assembly, Police Bazar. Sunil Deodhar, National Convener of BJP North East India Sampark Cell  will be present on the membership launch.

Members elected

After one year gap, election of Tura Government College Students’ Union ( TGCSU) was held on  November 21 for the session 2014-2015. The newly elected leaders are general secretary Salman D Sangma and assistant general secretary Sengsrang Ch. Marak Secretary.

Lok Adalat in Jowai

The Office of the District Legal Service Authority, West Jaintia Hills District in collaboration with the Meghalaya State Legal Services Authority, Shillong will organize Lok Adalat at Thomas Jones Synod College , Jowai on December 6 from 10.00 am.
