SHILLONG: The Shillong Municipal Employees’ Union has decided to launch a series of agitation programmes from November 27 in protest against the apathy of the State Government in addressing its various demands including immediate release of pending salary. The decision in this regard was taken in the general body meeting held on November 13. The employees have not received their salary since September.
