Meghalaya pavilion bags gold at intl trade fair

SHILLONG: Meghalaya State Pavilion bagged Gold medal in the North Eastern States category for excellence in display in the 34thIndia International Trade Fair (IITF) 2014 held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from November14-27.

The award ceremony was organized by the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), at Shakuntalam Convention Centre, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi on Thursday in which Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Union Minister of State In charge Culture and Tourism was the Chief Guest and Rajeev Kher, Commerce Secretary was the Guest of Honour

B. Kharsamai, Assistant Director of Information and Public Relations received the award on behalf of the State Pavilion from Dr Mahesh Sharma.
