Kolkata:NSG chief J N Choudhury on Friday said the central and state agencies have worked out ways to improve coordi-nation between them in the wake lesson learnt from the the Burdwan blast episode.
“There is always scope for improvement and this is also one of the issues they are working together. I have come with a team from Delhi and we have worked out ways on improving the coordination further,” Choudhury said in response to a question.
The state and central agencies have learnt a lesson from the Burdwan blast. He said “after the theft has taken place you go to catch the thief” and when keep a low profile, they don’t come to notice. “In this case, we have learnt lessons and I don’t think it would happen again.
The state and Centre will make sure that they work together on this case,” Chaudhury told reporters when asked whether the state government should have been more proactive in dealing with the JMB modules. He, however, said the NSG received “100 per cent” support from the state government while working on the Burdwan blast case.(PTI)
