AMPATI: The five-day workshop on Management of Fast Food Outlet organized by the IBDLP, Basin Development Unit, Ampati in collaboration with the District Commerce and Industries Centre went underway on Monday at Ampati Multi facility Centre.
The workshop participated by more than hundred entrepreneurs from in and around Ampati will be providing management and technical support to entrepreneurs who are already engaged or interested in opening a fast food outlet.
Inaugurating the workshop, South West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner Ram Singh stated that this was a great opportunity for the people of Ampati to be self reliant.
He added that people should not solely depend on subsidies and schemes. He said that the various trainings being given by the government were not only to enable the people of the region to avail subsidies and loans but most specifically to make them successful and productive entrepreneurs. He later urged all the participants to learn from the workshop and turn their enterprises into a prosperous industry.
South West Garo Hills Additional Deputy Commissioner H D B Sangma while delivering the welcome address commended the organizers for the novel programme and urged all the participants to learn and share so as to take up a lucrative endeavor.
Among others who spoke at the occasion were South West Garo Hills Extra Assistant Commissioner W R G Momin, DCIC General Manager J N Arengh and Resource Person P Sangma.
