Forgery case

A complaint was lodged at Laitumkhrah PS that during an interview conducted by State Health Department at Tura Civil Hospital (WGH) on Sep. 23 & 24, 2014, one Bedhana R Marak produced documents which actually belonged to Sengdi D Sangma. Police arrested the accused.

Patient dead

On Dec. 6 around 6.30 am, Irah Shabong (31) of Lawsohtun Block-I, was found lying dead inside a duty room at Reid Chest (TB) Hospital, Shillong. Cadaver was sent to CH Shillong for Post Mortem.

Accident case

On Dec. 5 around 9.45 pm, an accident took place between one Maruti Gypsy (ML-05J-1598) driven by Maisterwan Suchiang (43) and one truck (AS-25-AC-1256) at Mawryngkneng (EKH). As a result, one occupant of Maruti Gypsy viz., Fridalin Langstang (12) sustained injuries and was shifted to CH Shillong. After the incident, driver of the truck fled away.

Man found unconscious

On Dec. 5 around 2 pm, one unidentified male person (30) was found lying unconscious at Lower Jail Road, Shillong. He was removed to CH Shillong.

Vehicle escapes with clamp

On Dec. 4, one Maruti car (ML-05C-8860) was clamped by the Traffic Police for parking in the ‘No Parking Zone’ at Lumsohra, Laitumkhrah, Shillong, but fled away along with the clamp.

Theft case

On Dec. 2 night, unknown miscreants stole one motorcycle (DL-65-AB-5909) belonging to Hary Ch Sangma from Modynagar, Tura (WGH).
