RSJ creates platform for aspirants in music business

SHILLONG: Rock Street Journal (RSJ) in association with Rikskonsertene- Concerts Norway and Royal Norwegian Embassy on Friday organized the India Music Week Focus Group session at Shillong.

It may be mentioned that India Music Week is a series of mini conferences that aims to create a dialogue with musicians and other aspirants in the music business.

Director Rock Street Journal Anirban Chakraborty while explaining the idea said that now is the time to reach out directly to individuals that need real support.

The session was open to musicians and aspirants in music business from content creators to photographer, designers, painters and anyone who wants to connect with the music scene.

The even received tremendous support from music enthusiasts of the city who turned up to hear the panel of experts.

A renowned panel of expert held different sessions and spoke at length on the various topics related to music.

Miti Adhikari, a renowned music producer who has also worked in BBC for 30 years as concert producer held an engaging session From Making Music to live gigging.

Later, a local band Dossier’s Urge also put an electrifying performance during the event.

The India Music Week focus group sessions are preliminary discussions that are held as a precursor to the India Music week main conference which is aimed towards bringing together all personnel from the Indian Independent music community and other aspirants in music business.
