Kohima: The community leaders of Nagaland supported the popular movement, the Against Corruption and Unabated Taxation (ACAUT), after another armed underground group threatened the leaders of the organization.

The community leaders held separate meetings and resolved to make clear that the threat to the ACAUT was a threat to the commu-nity leaderships of the colonies in Dimapur as the latter are also members of the former.

The colony leaders also questioned the state government and its agen-cies as to why they were giving a ‘free hand’ to the underground groups.

A press release issued by the DUCCCF said that the Dimapur Urban Colony Council Chairmen Federa-tion (DUCCCF) yesterday condemned the threat against the Against Corrup-tion and Unabated Taxation by the underground group NSCN (K). The local community leaders issued a statement where the colony chairmen termed the threat to ACAUT as a threat to all the members of the colony leaders. (UNI)
