Bike-a-thon to pass through Shillong

SHILLONG: The Indo-Nepal Ride 2015, a bike (Bicycle)-a-thon ride for health initiated by Shann Fanwar of Fanwar Faith.Inc, USA and the Khasi Jaintia Conference of Seventh Day Adventist Church will commence in New Delhi on Wednesday.

The ride that will pass through Shillong and conclude in Kathmandu would cover a distance of 2300 kilometres in 14 days.

During the ride, Fanwar, who hails from Sohra and is settled in USA, would be accompanied by an electronics engineer from France, Daniel Mith.

The objective of the ride is to advocate a healthy life style for the countrymen and people across the globe.
