Dempo draw with Royal Wahingdoh

Margao: Substitute Romeo Fernandes helped Dempo FC rally from behind and drew 1-1 against Royal Wahingdoh to remain unbeaten in Group A at the Federation Cup football tournament here on Wednesday.
Royal Wahingdoh, who came back strongly in the later part of the first half, took the lead in the 36th minute through Bekay Bewar.
Dempo who came back strongly in the later part of the second half after making their substitution restored parity through Fernandes.
With Wednesday’s draw, Dempo FC who already qualified for the semi-finals topped the table with 10 points from four matches.
While Royal Wahingdoh FC finished third with four points from four matches.
Sporting Clube de Goa who finished second with six points from as many match have qualified along with Dempo from this group. (PTI)
