Imphal: Several bomb blasted on Wednesday in different parts in Manipur as the state observed statehood day on the same day. An Improvised Explo-sive Device(IED) exploded at Nagamapal here.
Police said the blast occurred near the local crematorium and no one was injured in the blast.
No one was injured in the blast.As the blast occurred near the busy market area there was panic in the city and large numbers of security personnel rushed in to control the situation.
It was not yet known who were responsible for the blast.Meanwhile, police said three bombs blasted near the national border area at Chandel district.(UNI)
