Trespassing

Dr. Vanessa Kharmawphlang lodged a complaint at Laitumkhrah PS that on January 22 at around 11.45 pm, two persons Kular Shangain and War Diengdoh trespassed into PGT College Premises, Boyce Road, Shillong, destroyed some pillars and attempted to remove the rods. Police arrested the accused persons.

Theft

Roland Kharkongor lodged a complaint at Laitumkhrah PS that on January 22 at around 3 pm, unknown miscreants stole one car tape valued around Rs. 5,500 and cash Rs. 300 from a Maruti car (ML-05B-8260) parked at Malki, Shillong.
Md. R. Ahmed of NF Railway lodged a complaint at Mendipathar PS that on January 19, it was detected that unknown miscreants stole one transformer and other materials from Niapara, Nolbari (North Garo Hills).

NGT ban violation

On January 21 at around 8 pm, Police detected one coal laden truck (AS-01DD-4259) driven by Tupan Rai at Dagal OGC (EGH) plying without valid documents. The truck was seized for violation of National Green Tribunal order.

Torture

Aparna Gogoi lodged a complaint at Rynjah PS that her husband R.K. Gogoi was torturing her physically and mentally since 2005 and on January 20, 2015 he threatened her over phone that he would forcibly take possession of her father’s residence at RR colony, Rynjah.

Damage

Ignasius Lamare lodged a complaint at Laitumkhrah PS that one Sameer Sutradhar (24) broke the channel of his car (ML-05-3464) at Malki, Shillong. Police arrested the accused.
