Assault

Bernard Dohkrut lodged a complaint at Lumdiengjri PS that on February 13 at around 2.30 am, one 16-year-old boy stole pen-drive and remote control from a vehicle parked at Jaiaw Pdeng, Shillong. The accused was apprehended and assaulted by local residents and handed over to Police who admitted him at Civil Hospital Shillong for treatment.

Theft

Diana Syiem lodged a complaint at Madanrting PS that between February 11 & 12, unknown miscreants stole one LPG cylinder from her house at Madanrting Block-F, Shillong. In this connection, Police arrested one Pauminlal Haokip (24 yrs).
Fr. F.C Thomas lodged a complaint (February  11) at Williamnagar PS that unknown miscreants stole iron rods valued around Rs. 20,448 from a construction site at Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (EGH).

NGT ban violation

On February 12 at around 4.15 pm, Police detected one truck (ML-09A-4116) driven by Chensra S Marak at Mawngap (EKH) while transporting coal in violation of NGT Order.

Extortion

Haney G. Marak lodged a complaint on February 10 at Williamnagar PS that on January 28 he received one unanimous SMS demanding Rs. 5 lakh. Later, the sender was identified as one Jimberth Ch. Momin.

Threat

Mihlang Dkhar lodged a complaint at Khliehriat PS that on Nov. 19 last a group of persons led by one Khroo Chyrmang, armed with lethal weapons went to his house at Jalaphet village (EJH) and threatened him with dire consequences.
