SHILLONG: The District Horticulture Office, Ri Bhoi, will organise the Strawberry Festival at the scenic Sohliya village on February 14 on the occasion of Valentine’s Day.
Besides strawberry products like soufflés, ice cream, strawberry and cream and local strawberry wine, local cuisines and barbecue will be on display during the day-long festival which will also witness entertainment and games.
People will also be entertained by popular bands like Strait brothers, 4th Element, Crossroads, Summersalt, Snap Paka and Pynter Orchestra on the occasion.
The festival is being organized in collaboration with the Ri Bhoi Strawberry Growers Association.
