SHILLONG:  Giving a new twist to the twin murder of July 23, 2014 in Jaintia Hills, a local court on Monday ordered the authorities to conduct a fresh post-mortem on one of the deceased.
It may be recalled that Jelbin Roy Dkhar, an employee of the JHADC and his pregnant sister Ribaitmi Dkhar (32), were brutally killed inside a car while they were on their way from Barato village to Jowai on July 23, last year.
The body of  Jelbin Roy Dkhar will be exhumed on Tuesday for conducting the second post-mortem.
The autopsy of Dkhar will be conducted at the cemetery of the Presbyterian Church at Barato village in East Jaintia Hills District, sources said on Monday.
The prime accused in the twin-murder case — Coming Rabon and Abiding Rabon —  had surrendered before police. Police had also seized the SBBL gun which was used in the crime.
