Lady Gaga joins ‘American Horror Story: Hotel’

Singer Lady Gaga will star in the fifth season of “Ameri     can Horror Story”. The newly-engaged singer posted     a video on Twitter revealing the news and the new title for the anthology series — “American Horror Story: Hotel”, reports aceshowbiz.com.“Make your reservation now. #GagaAHSHotel,” the 28-year-old tweeted along with a short video that sees her removing her mask and whispering “hotel”.
“American Horror Story” is entering the fifth instalment after completing “Freak Show” in January. Details of Gaga’s role are not disclosed, but the next season is expected to premiere in October this year.
So far no other cast member for “American Horror Story: Hotel” has been revealed. Gaga, who gave show-stealing performance at the 87th Academy Awards over the weekend, has appeared in films like “Machete Kills”, “Muppets Most Wanted”, and “Sin City: A Dame to Kill for”. (IANS)

 

More allegations against Cliff Richard surface

The sex abuse investigation into singer Cliff Richard     has “increased significantly since its inception” and     now involves more than one allegation, according to South Yorkshire Police.The 73-year-old was questioned by officials last August after a man came forward and claimed that he had been molested by the star in the 1980s, reports telegraph.co.uk. But in a letter to Keith Vaz, the chairman of the Home Affairs Select Committee, David Crompton, the Chief Constable of South Yorkshire, confirmed that the investigation had now expanded beyond that single allegation.
Responding to a request from Vaz for an update into the progress of the investigation, Crompton said: “This is an investigation which has increased significantly in size since its inception. Sir Cliff Richard’s lawyers are aware that there is more than one allegation.” However, Richard said in a statement released Wednesday, that he has “no idea where these absurd and untrue allegations come from”.
“The police have not disclosed details to me. I have never, in my life, assaulted anyone and I remain confident that the truth will prevail. I have cooperated fully with the police, and will, of course, continue to do so,” he added. (IANS)

 

Lohan ordered to do 125 hours of community service

Lindsay Lohan’s claims of completing her community     service has been denied by the judge and now the     actress will have to dedicate 125 hours more to it. Lohan’s ongoing community service stems from her 2012 car crash on the Pacific Coast Highway in Santa Monica. Santa Monica City Attorney Terry White confirmed that some of the hours that Lohan, 28, submitted as community service were denied by the judge, reported E! Online. “125 is the approximate number of hours that were denied,” White said. A new hearing was scheduled for March 12 for both sides to decide on which program Lohan will be assigned to. (PTI)

John Abraham returns with ‘Force’ sequel

Actor John Abraham will star in “Force 2”, a sequel     to the 2011 movie “Force”. It will have an original     script and will be directed by Abhinay Deo. While “Force” was a remake of Tamil movie “Kaakha Kaakha”, “Force 2” will have an original script and will be produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah.Shah, who has had a good run at the box office with “Commando”, “Force” and “Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty”, is looking forward to reuniting with John, said a statement.
