Penalty on traffic violations

JOWAI: Jowai Traffic Police has realized a fine of Rs.2 lakh in two months through imposition of penalty on traffic violations, use of halogen and mercury lights, driving without proper license and documents and loading beyond permissible limits.
District police chief Herbert G. Lyngdoh, while informed that checking of vehicles would continue in the near future, requested all vehicle owners and drivers to carry valid documents.
