Shillong: Toshanbor Singh Nongbet, from Shillong, is making waves on Asia’s Got Talent 2015. He walked on to the stage, faced the judges and belted out an operatic number that proved that this man can sing and how!
Coming from a family of doctors (both parents and a brother are doctors), his decision to pursue music was not the most popular one at home, but after watching him perform, the family is glad he stayed strong.

Nongbet had earlier participated in an edition of India’s Got Talent, where he was declared the 4th runner-up.
Toshan has been updating his Facebook about different stages of his performances.
Toshan’s father, Dr RS Thangkhiew said he will be arriving at Shillong on Saturday and leaving on the 21st for the next phase of Asia’s Got Talent at Singapore.
Toshan is a trained opera singer and he is passionate about his singing. He captivates the audience with his pure yet powerful rendition of operatic songs. He has a very strong chance of winning this one!
For those who would like to hear Toshan sing can long on to “Toshanbor- Asia’s Got Talent World Premiere 2015.” On YouTube https://youtu.be/FSdB4WJ3Sxg
