Boys of Gorkha, YAWS wins

Shillong: Boys of Gorkha defeated Bigvory by 45 runs in the Second Division Knock Out Cricket Tournament 2015 organised by the Shillong Cricket Association at the SCA Cricket Ground, Polo, on Saturday.
Gorkha scored 165 runs losing 5 wickets in 20 overs, after electing to bat first. Ajay Ram top scored with 84 runs off 67 balls and Sameer Ali scored 43 runs off 37 balls. Mona Prasad took 2 wickets for 22 runs and S.N Ranee took 1wicket for 37 runs for Bigvory.
In reply, Bigvory scored 120 runs for 9 wickets in 20 overs.
S.N Ranee top scored with 26 runs off 26 balls and Kamailang Ranee 18 runs off 22 balls. Summit Thapa took 4 wickets for 33 runs and Wasim Siddique took 2 wickets for 15 runs for Gorkha.
In the second match, Y.A.W.S defeated Aparijita by 8 runs.
Electing to bat first  YAWS scored 118 runs losing 8 wickets in allotted 20 overs.  Vickey Das scored 25 runs off 14 balls and Akhil 17 runs off 16 balls. Nandu Das took 2 wickets for 16 runs and Kunal Dey took 1 wicket for 10 runs for Aparijita.
In reply, Aparijita scored 110 runs losing 7 wickets in 20 overs.
Manish Halder scored 37 runs off 26 balls and Balaji Choudhury 23 runs off 25 balls.  Ramesh Sharma and Sumit bagged 1 wicket each for YAWS.
