Furious 7 earns $143.6 mn in opening weekend

Action film “Furious 7”, which marks the last outing of  late Paul Walker, has raked in approximate USD 143.6 million in the opening weekend, breaking record of all the previous “Fast and Furious” films.
It has an grossed USD 384 million worldwide. Paul Walker’s last film becomes the first ever “Fast and Furious” movie to cross USD 100 million mark in the first weekend, reported Entertainment Weekly.
It also had the ninth biggest opening weekend ever, right behind Spider-Man 3’s USD 151.1 million 2007 debut. (PTI)
