SHILLONG: Education Assessment and Rating (ERA) Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation, has introduced a common entrance for engineering, medical and dental courses in 10 private universities.
ERA Foundation CEO, Subramanya said that the entrance test for Uni-GAUGE EMed 2015 will be held on April 26 in 60 cities of the country including Guwahati.
The member-universities include MS Ramayya University of Applied Sciences, Reva University, KL University and Karpagam University.
The Uni-GAUGE is beneficial to student community as it enables them to apply to multiple universities through a single gateway, the ERA CEO said here on Thursday.
“With this new system, candidates seeking admission to medical, engineering and dental courses can now write a single entrance test to seek admission in multiple universities,” Subramanya said.
