Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi on Friday credited the people of Assam, particularly the young generation, for helping his government to complete four years of its third consecutive term in office.
The Chief Minister tweeted on Friday that since 2001, the state has steered out of uncertainty, sluggish growth and economic turmoil and has marched towards peace, progress and prosperity.  He further attributed the state’s stability to the unstinted support and cooperation of the people of the state.  In another tweet, the CM said the state government would extend all facilities to Centre for holding the SAF Games in Assam and would also play the role of a facilitator for its success.
