Hrithik, Sonam’s Dheere Dheere crosses 20 million views
Reprising the romance of ’90s with the charm of their own, Hrithik Roshan and Sonam Kapoor’s music video, “Dheere Dheere” crooned by rap star Yo Yo Honey Singh has crossed 20 million views. The 41-year-old “Bang Bang” star took to Twitter to congratulate his co-star and the team associated with the video–produced by T-Series as a tribute to Gulshan Kumar. “Oye @sonamakapoor crossed 20 million today! http://bit.ly/DDvideosong what shall we do next,” Hrithik wrote. Sonam, 30, retweeted the post. Hrithik also congratulated producer Bhushan Kumar, for coming up with the idea of paying a tribute to his music composer father and founder of T-Series Gulshan Kumar. “What succeeds is intention behind the action. A son’s love for his father. Well done Bhushan! @Tseries (20 million seriously),” he tweeted. Officially released on September 1, the video is Hrithik and Sonam’s second project together after an ad film. (PTI)
Salman Khan’s special treat for fans who watch Hero
In a unique attempt to promote his latest production “Hero”, which hit theatres today, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has promised fans that he will personally sign their tickets after they watch the movie in theatres. The 49-year-old actor is launching newcomers Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty with this romantic action movie directed by Nikhil Advani. Salman has asked his fans to send him the movie tickets by post and he will sign the first 100 tickets and send it back to them. “Watch ‘Hero’. Send me your ticket. I will sign 100 tickets. One of them could be yours. Send your ticket(s) to PO Box 9808 Bandra (w) post office, Mumbai 4000050. Apna naam, address aur twitter handle bhi likhna (Mention your name, address and twitter handle),” Salman posted on twitter. “Hero” is the remake of Subhash Ghai’s 1983 film of the same name, which starred Jackie Shroff. Kesha officiates marriage of gay friends
Pop star Kesha reprised her role as an ordained minis ter this week as she officiated the same-sex marriage of her hairstylist and his partner. The 28-year-old “Tik Tok” hitmaker took to Instagram to share a photo of herself performing the ceremony for her gay friend Vittorio Masecchia and his fiance Felipe Noqueira, reported E! online. She captioned the sweet image, “All you need is love”. The singer, who obtained her licence to perform marriages online, also presided over the commitment ceremony of her lesbian friends Monique Morrison and Gretchen Helt in Malibu, California in 2012, before same-sex unions were legalised across the US earlier this year. Kesha isn’t the first celebrity to turn officiant of late – TV host and comedian Jimmy Kimmel recently took on the special duty to marry Jennifer Aniston and her new husband Justin Theroux, while Sharon Stone, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Emma Stone and Dan Aykroyd have all also taken on the role.
