GHADC polls: 88 remain in fray in WGH

SHILLONG: Altogether 88 nominations filed by the candidates in West Garo Hills for the October 12 GHADC polls were found to be valid.
Informing this here on Monday, Returning Officer for the GHADC elections, Pravin Bakshi, said symbols will be allotted to the candidates on September 26.
He also informed that some guidelines have been issued under which release of new schemes and laying of foundation stones would not be allowed.
Reacting to a query about the use of money power, Bakshi said that flying squads will keep tab on any distribution of money.
