CPC Swacch Abhiyan
The CPC Swacch Abhiyan will be launched on October 18 at the Immersion Ghat, Polo at 9 am and undertaken at all Puja pandals thereafter.
Diamond Jubilee celebration
As part of the Diamond Jubilee celebration, members of Matri Mandir, Polo will organise a get-together for the children of Meghalaya Hindu Mission orphanage on Sunday. Gifts will also be distributed among the children.
General meeting
The 19th general meeting of the Warjri clan will be held at Umran Dairi on October 23 from 11 am onwards. On the occasion meritorious students from the Warjri clan will also be felicitated. Deserving students can forward their names to the general secretary or president Warjri clan on or before October 20.
Office bearers
The Dorbar Shnong Dymmiew elected its office bearers for 2015-2018 in a general meeting held on October 12. MP Marbaniang was named the headman and R.Kharkrang the assistant Rangbah Shnong beside others.
