BJYM meet at Presbyterian Church of India

SHILLONG: Lok Sabha member Anurag Singh Thakur, who is also the national president of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), met the party workers accompanied by in charge BJYM Meghalaya, Gopi Ghosh, in the city on Tuesday.
At a convention held at the Presbyterian Church of India, which was presided over by Egenstar Kurkalang, state president, BJYM Meghalaya, Thakur said, “The ban on beef is just a rumour spread by other parties and BJP is committed to bringing about development in the region.”
He urged the youths to be responsible citizens and to contribute to society and help in the upliftment of the country as a whole.
Kurkalang claimed that the State government has neglected various important issues. “It is time for the people of the State to wake up,” he maintained.
