Theft
On Friday, Daniel Francis lodged a complaint that during his absence between October 9 to November 6, an unknown miscreants broke into his house at Nongrimbah, Laitumkhrah, Shillong and stole one LCD TV set and one pressure cooker.
On Friday evening, an unidentified miscreants stole one bag containing  an i-pad, a mobile phone and Rs. 30,000 cash from Nita Vijay Shah, a tourist from Pune, Maharashtra at Iewduh, Shillong.
On Thursday, an unknown miscreants stole one laptop from the house of Riku Dutta at Lummawrie, Laitumkhrah, Shillong.
Body found
On Friday afternoon one unidentified male dead body (35/40) was recovered from MIDC area, Umiam (RB). Necessary formalities were observed and matter is under enquiry.
Accident
On Thursday one Sati Samynting fell down from a running vehicle (ML-05G-9366) at Wahiajer village (WJH). He sustained injuries and was removed to Dr. Norman Tunnel Hospital, Jowai where he succumbed to his injuries.
On Wednesday afternoon, one motorcycle (ML-09-4859) ridden by Bruss Ch Marak (20) collided with a Maruti car (number not known) near Rangku Memorial School, Baghmara (SGH). Riders sustained injuries.
