March on climate change in city

SHILLONG: The Civil Society Women Organization (CSWO) in collaboration with Avaaz, and several other civil society organizations and individuals around the world supported by various groups in Shillong, is organizing the Global March for Climate Change at in the city on November 30.
As a part of this global awareness campaign, the march will start from Madan Iewrynghep, near Fire brigade Ground and conclude at the parking lot near the Additional Secretariat. The match will begin at 11 a.m.
CSWO president Agnes Kharshiing appealed to all members of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly, Members of the 3 Autonomous District Councils, State and Central Government servants, financial institutions, Dorbar Shnong, heads of traditional institutions, etc., to join the march.
