Rajnath cancels NEPA visit

SHILLONG: Yet again a Union Minister and BJP leader has skipped an official function in Meghalaya.
Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, who was scheduled to attend the passing out ceremony at NEPA, Umiam on Saturday, has cancelled his visit.
When contacted, the officials on Friday concerned did not provide any reason for the cancellation of the trip.
Earlier on November 4, BJP leader L K Advani, who was to visit Shillong cancelled his trip at the last moment.
Advani was supposed to come to Shillong for the meeting of Parliamentary Standing Committee.
In the past, Minister of State for Food Processing  Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti and the External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj had skipped Shillong visit .
