Fake notes: One arrested

JOWAI: West Jaintia Hills police on Monday arrested one Chemi Phawa of Mihmyntdu village for allegedly circulating fake currency notes in the district. Two of his accomplices were arrested earlier for circulating fake currency note Rs 500 at Mookaiaw market. Phawa, the prime accused, was absconding. Phawa was arrested in 2013 from Phramer area in connection with a similar case.
