SHILLONG: Following the disappearance of a State youth from Mumbai airport terminal on Friday evening, the city Police is in touch with its Mumbai counterparts.
Informing this here on Monday, Vivek Syiem, SP (city), said that an alert has been sounded in all the domestic airports.
Mawramsong Kharhujon went missing from the airport while on his way back home on Friday.
“A missing case is posted in the national portal of missing persons,” Syiem said.
Kharhujon went missing after he went to the washroom of the airport, according to his sister Pynshisha Kharhujon, who went to Mumbai to escort him back to Shillong.
She filed a complaint with the Mumbai police in this connection.
