Burial denied

SHILLONG: The headman of Wah Mawpat village at Sawsymper allegedly denied burial of the mortal remains of a boy on grounds that the deceased was not a resident of the village.
The incident happened on November 10. The younger brother of the deceased said that the body was later buried in their own land.
